Virtual Training Springtime 2025 kicks off Sunday, March 2nd. Clear your calendars and take advantage of these FREE courses. Take the Basic Course, and you will be on your way to earning the Wisconsin American Legion College Graduate pin. The courses, along with the dates and times offered are listed below.
You can take the Mylegion.org course March 2nd from 9 AM-Noon OR March 27th from 6-9 PM.
You can take the Consolidated Post Report Course (CPR) March 2nd from 9 AM-Noon OR April 2nd 6-9 PM.
You can take the Post Commander Course March 5th from 6-9 PM OR April 5th from 9 AM-Noon.
You can take the Adjutant Course March 8th from 9 AM-Noon OR March 19th from 6-9 PM.
You can take The Basic Course March 12-13th from 6-9 PM each evening OR March 22nd-23rd from 9 AM-Noon each day.
You can take the County Commander Course March 8th from 9 AM-Noon OR March 25th from 6-9 PM.
You can take the Effective Social Media at the Post Level course March 6th from 6-9 PM OR March 15th from 9 AM-Noon.
The Generational Leadership Issues at the Post Level will only be held once on March 19th from 6-9 PM.
The Public Relations for the Local Legion Family will only be held once on March 20th from 6-9 PM.
The American Legion's official training program for officers, members, Legion College applicants and those who simply want to expand their knowledge of the nation's largest veterans service organization is now available online.
Already taken the old course? The American Legion Extension Institute has been rewritten, updated, streamlined and enhanced with videos, digital photos, clickable links, a historical timeline and additional features. The program should take less than two hours to complete. It is divided into six sections, with a quiz at the end of each one, followed by a final exam.
