A new look for a new century

When the vision for The American Legion was built 100 years ago, none of our founders could imagine the challenges we would face as a Legion family today.

We are excited to launch our new campaign to serve today’s Wisconsin from our Veterans and spouses to their families to our local communities where we inspire patriotism and a love for the principles that founded our organization in 1919.

From health care, earned benefits and the challenges of retirement for our aging Veterans to PTSD, deployments and second careers for our younger Veterans, we are forced to adapt and act meeti often asked to come to the rescue of one of our Legion family members in need. When you include issues like homelessness and Veteran suicide that impacts every generation of our military community, the list of those who need us can become daunting.

It's our mission to enhance the lives of our Veterans and their families, inspire the next generation of Wisconsin leaders, and promote the principles of The Legion in every community across the Badger State.

Together, we can accomplish so much for those who need us. We welcome you to our Legion Family.
