Adjutant Gear joined the team in June of 2020. His experiences  through his military career and education including recruiting, leadership, Business Management and Communications will serve him well as the Department Adjutant.

James worked as a Veterans Service Representative at the D.S.O. for 2 years before becoming the Department Service Officer for the past 11 years. "Your Service Office is proud, knowing that veterans, war widows(ers) and orphans will receive their due benefits and possibly one day a college education because we were able to help."

Chet joined the team in August 2021. He retired from the US Navy submarine force and immediately engulfed himself into his local American Legion Post. Chet has served as Post Membership Coordinator, Post Commander, Post Adjutant, and County Commander. “I’m so excited and I feel fortunate to work for a program that I so strongly believe in.”

Tammi recently joined the team in November 2021. Tammi recently retired from the University of Wisconsin -Madison and is currently a Board Member with Badger Honor Flight since 2015. "I'm so grateful to be part of this American Legion HDQ team to continue my dedication to serving the Veterans of Wisconsin who served us."

Sheri has been with the HDQ team for 5 years. She is the coordinator for Badger Boys State, Wisconsin American Legion Law Enforcement Career Academy, Shooting Sports and Oratorical. "I am very excited to work with the programs of The American Legion."

Jen is the baseball coordinator, editor of the Badger Legionnaire and assists with social media and Legislative work. She has been a member of the HDQ team for 2 years.  Her background in graphic design and photography is a great asset to the Department. "Thank you for the warm welcome."

With over 20 years in corporate and governmental finance, Lee joined Team Legion in May 2019 as the contracted onsite accountant assisting WIPFLI LLP, Department Adjutant, and the Team to bring the programs and services into financial compliance.
In January 2020, the contract with WIPFLI expired and Roundy continued responsibility for supporting the Department Adjutant in all functional areas of finance, including accounting, budget, contract maintenance, debt financing, insurance, investments, and supply chain. The most rewarding aspect of his position is listening and striving to make finance accessible to stakeholders in the best possible manner.
Roundy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, specializing in both economics and finance, from the State of Wisconsin at Whitewater and is currently pursuing his MBA in Finance at Whitewater.

Marina is the bookkeeper, working with the Finance Director. She joined the team in October 2021. Her education in business administration and work experience in bookkeeping are great assets she brings to the Department. “Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the American Legion Team.”
