We will be walking 2.2 miles to raise awareness for the 22 Veterans that take their lives every day. During the walk participants are encouraged to talk with and get to know each other. The walk will be held on Wednesday July 19th at 3pm and will start at the Holiday Inn in Rothschild. The walk is designed to allow people of varying abilities the opportunity to participate and is open to anyone.
There is an opportunity to purchase T-Shirts as a fundraiser for Troop and Family Support. " The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin’s Troop and Family Support fund offers temporary assistance to active duty members, qualifying veterans and their immediate families. This is a non-budgeted restricted fund supported by donations from both our members and the public. Every penny donated to the fund is used to support active duty members, qualifying veterans and their immediate families. Any administrative costs are covered by The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin."
