The 2nd Annual Celebration of Freedom will be held September 10-12, 2020 in Portage, WI. The 1st Annual event raised over $40,000 for our Legion Programs. What can we do with $40,000? It could send over 130 Veterans to Camp, help thousands of Veterans and their families meet their financial needs during hard times, annually send 54 Legion All-Stars to play at Miller Park or send over 130 Boys to Badger Boys State to name a few.
This is a STATE-WIDE LEGION FAMILY event that was attended by over 20,000 people throughout Wisconsin and beyond in 2019. Some of the events already planned are (stay tuned for more updates):

Join WDVA for a virtual town hall meeting.Veterans, their families, and others in the veterans community are invited to join Governor Tony Evers and WDVA Secretary Mary Kolar for a Veterans Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, April 9 at 4:00 p.m.
During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, you will have the opportunity to hear what’s happening with and ask questions about WDVA programs, benefits and services. Participants will be able to submit questions related to veterans issues during this meeting.
