Commander's Communique for March 11, 2014

 USS Wisconsin (BB-64) to be celebrated at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum – 30 W. Mifflin St.,  
 Madison 53703 - on Thursday, April 24th at 7:00 P.M.

 Wisconsin Veterans Museum event to focus on the Battleship USS Wisconsin (BB-64).  The Museum is
 looking for those who aboard the USS Wisconsin to attend and/or be on a discussion panel for this
 event.


 In partnership with the Navy League, the Wisconsin Veterans Museum will be hosting an educational program
 celebrating the 70 year history of the USS Wisconsin.

 For this program, the Wisconsin Veterans Museum is looking for individuals who served aboard the Wisconsin
 during WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Persian Gulf wars.

 The event will be a panel discussion of these veterans telling stories of their time aboard the Wisconsin and how,
 though their experiences varied over the decades, the Wisconsin binds them together in their maritime
 experiences.

 

Any Legionnaires who served aboard the Battleship  USS Wisconsin (BB-64)are encouraged to attend and take part.  The event is scheduled to be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum – 30 W. Mifflin St., Madison 53703 -on Thursday, April 24th at 7:00 P.M.
