The Mission of
The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin
is to Provide Service to Veterans,
and Their Communities.
The Department Standing Committees and Commisssions have been established to help the Department achieve our mission. All committees meet 2-4 times per year. Each year the newly elected Department Commander is tasked with filling vacant spots on each committee. The Commander reviews the Standing Committee Applications that have come in from all of the districts throughout the state. The Department is always looking for individuals to fill these committees and commissions and you CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. If you are interested, please fill out the attached application and submit it to your District Commander for consideration.
